Ok, so I lied. I did not go to the weight watchers meeting this morning. I actually got out of bed when the alarm went off. I went to the bathroom and I was actually in the shower. And then I started thinking about how cold it was outside and how miserable I was feeling (the sinus/cold thing is still with me......so it's still icky...even if I do feel super without the strep symptoms). I got to thinking about how today is a long day of work for me...and I realized that I just wasn't going to make it. I finished my shower and went to the living room where I curled up on the sofa and read to my hearts content!

I'm aiming for the Tuesday morning meeting now! Tuesdays are one of my more shorter days....so that's good!

At least you are feeling better! Cold here as well, my hands are super cold even in the house. Sounds like you are doing OK with eating, so take it easy the next few days and you should be good as new when you get to that meeting on Tuesday!

I think you made a wise decision. You've been sick for goodness sake. You don't want to over do it and have a relapse. Tuesday is a good idea. Gives your body more time to heal.

I think you did the right thing to stay in. You can WI later. You really don't need to get more germs just as you are getting better. Rest and eat right this weekend.

Don't beat yourself up to bad. It's happened to the best of us. WI on Tuesday. Feel good about yourself until then. I'm glad you're feeling a little better, though.

When you're sick, rest is best :)

I've passed on the Marie Antoinette Award to you, as your blog is an inspiration to me (see my blog.)

Tuesday is a perfect day for a meeting!

I hope that you're on the mend. Being sick is no fun at all.
