Saturday morning boredom

Maintained my weight down to the ounce this morning. Shucks! I was hoping that it would drop off some! What do I need to do to make the weight drop??? Ok ok ok...continue doing what I'm doing. Eating wisely and exercise. Well, maybe kick the exercise back up to where I usually am. I've been a bit of a sluggard lately...exercising only every other day.

Got up early and hung some clothes out on the line. Todd turned on the mower. It's not blowing black smoke and it seemed to have power as he ran through the yard with it. He didn't drop the blades as the grass was super we won't know for sure until we do that...but the mower seems to be ok as of right this moment.

We are hoping to get to the gym this afternoon. I'm actually looking forward to it. Crazy as that sounds! :-)

Other than that...It's 9:45 here at work...and I'm bored! Sometimes I wish that we'd get really busy because it makes the time go so much faster. But then if I'm busy I don't have time to write in my journal, read blogs, answer personal emails, read books, and surf the Internet! Ahhhh I guess I'm never happy!

Try not to be too hard on yourself for "staying the same" weight wise. With as much as you have loss so far, maybe your body just needs a little break right now. I know I rather lose every week, but every now and then maintaining is nice as well. I find if I obsess about what I eat and my exercise all the time, I can drive myself to eat more, just because I am bored. This week I forced myself to get back to my hobby, scrapbooking and the time goes by and I don't sit and wait for the clock to tell me when to eat. GOOD LUCK!

Staying the same is a good thing.

Glad the mower is at least running. And without black smoke yet. Wow, that's an improvement.

Yep, you got it. It's not always fun and exciting and we're not always losing. This is what we have to get used to for maintenance. If you don't want to increase the frequency of your exercise maybe you could increase the intensity? Do you have a heart rate monitor? How hard are you working out? Maybe take a look at the overall picture in addition to frequency. In general, never forget how far you've come.
