Disgust

Yes I have been missing in action...and yes that usually means bad things on a weigh loss blog.

Crazily enough I have been holding on...staying within. A few pound range. Not really gaining...not really losing.  The bad part?  It’s not a weight range that I want to be in!!!

So I made a vow to work on this during the yalear 2018.  Thus far it’s been a bit of a failure. I want  to say colossal, but I am down about a pound...but for 2.5 months that’s not much...but it’s not a gain and it is a tiny tiny loss so it’s not a colossal failure!!!

On New Years I also vowed that my eating like crazy to the point of sickness was ending too.  Yeah this past weekend I did it again!

What is my problem??  Seriously?

My clothes feel tight and icky and I’m just not happy!!

I have a good friend that is killing this weight loss thing this year.   She is doing amazing!!!   She is inspiring me to get serious!!!!!

But right now...I’m just disgusted with myself!!!

  1. I know the feeling. I just bought my lunch for the 1st time this year - 10 weeks in and I've lost zero pounds (well up and down the same 2-3 lbs) so I figured WTF (except it has also saved me $, so at least I have that going for me).

You have a major life change coming up - I know you aren't where you want to be, but you aren't going up so that is good! Keep what you are doing to keep the gains at bay and give it a couple of weeks after the move - but not more than that - that is what I ran into - Even after we moved I kept using it as an excuse for 4 months (and I continued gaining during that time!)

  2. I'm sorry you're so frustrated...have you ever thought about doing a little therapy to address your eating issues?

  3. I rejoined ww as I found a fried of mine was doing so well on it....her weight loss inspired me. I am not doing as well as she is, but her losses and her support keep me plugging away...so dig deep and do not quit !!!

  4. I seem to be maintaining so far this year too. Staying up and down in the same range. But so far this year has been pretty stressful.

I think after your move, you will find your groove.
