So good for you. How about replacing the ice cream with yogurt or a bowl of fruit. And swapping out the chips for some veggies and dip or maybe some crackers and hummus or a bowl of popcorn. I got to the point where I just could not have chips in my house anymore cause I would eat them... at some point in the day :)!
SANRDJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15977221271970421437noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20595227.post-48053283095077446052018-07-06T08:47:29.336-05:002018-07-06T08:47:29.336-05:00Hi - sounds like you are making real progress! I ...Hi - sounds like you are making real progress! I wanted to suggest that if you are waking up thirsty, yes you may need more water, as you mention, but with all this heat, and humidity, that means sweating which means losing not just water but minerals. Your body needs salt! And lots of it during weather/times like this. Good salt, though, like Celtic Sea Salt or Redmund's Real Salt. But if you can't get those, even regular old salt is better than nothing. I'd just highly recommend getting more salt, ASAP!
It may also help with your sweet cravings and even your "cold thing" cravings, which sound like an inability to cool the body really well - again, indicators of low salt.
For more info you can check out the book, The Salt Fix, by James DiNicolantonio, or also he posts lots of good info on social media, such as his Facebook page, here:
https://www.facebook.com/drjamesdinic/
Hope this helps! So then I tried something else. I bought some pears and apples, sauteed them in a little Smart Balance Light, and seasoned with cinnamon and apple pie seasoning. Served with a dollop of fat free whipped cream. What a yummy low point or low calorie sweet treat.mxtodis123https://www.blogger.com/profile/13583200601379394225noreply@blogger.com
